The popular footballer, who currently plays for Atalanta in the Italian Serie A, invests in wine through RareWine Invest and will now also appear in a marketing campaign to raise awareness of wine investment.
Joakim Mæhle As Brand Ambassador
In just a few years, Joakim Mæhle has become one of the most famous faces in Denmark, and with the affectionate nickname "Prinsegemæhlen" (Referring to the Prince Consort - Danish), he is one of the symbols of the recent Danish National Team era.
"Naturally, we welcome Joakim Mæhle to our corps of ambassadors. We share the same set of values and he possesses all the qualities we value in the people we work closely with. On top of that, Joakim also has a keen interest in wine, and while that is not a prerequisite, it is, of course, a bonus." explains Lars Granat Jensen, CMO of RareWine Group, the company behind RareWine Invest.
RareWine Invest has seen a massive interest in wine investment in recent years. Wine stands out as an ungeared physical asset that is remarkably resilient in an uncertain market. Many people have already recognized this, and Joakim Mæhle will help to share his story with even more.
"We are both delighted and humbled that more than 1,600 investors have entrusted wine investment to us, including Joakim. With his winning personality, we hope that Joakim can help spread the word about wine investment to even more people. He will not be a salesman or an actor. He will just be himself and put his thoughts on wine investment into words." says Lars Granat Jensen.
The collaboration began in the spring of 2022 and includes both video and photo ads, where Joakim Mæhle talks about what made him invest in wine. One of the key elements of collaboration can be seen in the video below.
Popular Joakim Mæhle - From Østervrå To The Danish National Team
The Danish national football team is experiencing popularity these years that can only be compared to the 1986 euphoria, when Denmark participated in a World Cup tournament for the first time, and then, of course, the European Championships in 1992, in which Denmark was crowned European Champions.
Joakim Mæhle has put his hometown, Østervrå, on the Danish map and is an inspiring role model for thousands of aspiring girls and boys in the local sports associations. He is the example that with hard work, dedication, and undeniable talent, it is not impossible to leap over provincial town to the biggest stadiums and stay earthbound.
In his youth, Joakim Mæhle joined the North Jutland football flagship, AaB (Aalborg BK), where he later made his debut for the club's first team in the Danish Superliga at the age of 19. His early breakthrough was also noticed abroad, and Joakim Mæhle was sold to the Belgian top club Genk.
At the age of just 21, Joakim Mæhle manifested himself among the main forces of the Genk team that won the Belgian championship in 2019 and subsequently played in football's finest tournament, the Champions League.
The success did not go unnoticed, and in January 2021, Joakim Mæhle joined an even bigger address in the football world, Italian Seria A side Atalanta, based in the northern Italian city of Bergamo.
Joakim Mæhle, who at the time of writing has appeared 31 times for Denmark and scored 9 goals, made his national team debut for Denmark on 5 September 2020. He proved to be a key player at the 2021 European Championship, where several matches were played on Danish soil. Football fever raged in Denmark right up to the semi-finals, where it was a narrow 2-1 defeat to England at Wembley.
