In recent years, Amiot-Servelle has refined its expression to perfection – and with the 2023 vintage, the family once again shows why they belong among Chambolle-Musigny’s most elegant and sought-after producers. We have secured a limited allocation directly from the domaine’s cellar – six crus, six expressions of finesse and purity – gathered in one exclusive parcel. But there are only four available.

We have personally witnessed how Domaine Amiot-Servelle in recent years has managed to polish and perfect an already very high standard. The estate ranks among the best producers in Chambolle-Musigny, and with a new winery and a new generation at the helm, we’re dealing with a producer whose wines future wine lovers will want to drink.

Who are the Burgundy wine lovers of the future?

In investment terms, it’s not only about finding producers with great potential. It’s also about analyzing trends. And one increasingly insistent trend is the rising Asian demand for Burgundy grand and premier crus. In June 2025, Liv-ex wrote:

“Asian buying continues to increase, with a focus on Burgundy.”

According to an analysis from Liv-ex, interest in fine wine in Asia also gained clear momentum in the spring of 2025. In May, activity rose by about 10% compared to April (naturally reflecting Liberation Day on April 2), while overall trading volume was roughly 25% higher than during the same period last year. Looking at the full year, demand is more than a third above the 2024 average. Everything therefore suggests that the Asian appetite for fine wines is not merely a temporary fluctuation, but a movement with lasting strength – precisely as we have argued for years. And Burgundy is leading the way.

In July 2025, Vino Joy News wrote:

“Many importers in China who once focused on Bordeaux grands crus are now pivoting to Burgundy, and that shift is fueling Burgundy’s overall growth,” said Kevin Wu, CEO of Fine West, one of China’s leading fine wine importers and one of Vino Joy News’ Top 100 wine importers.

The Burgundy wine lovers of the future will, of course, continue to include you and me – but Asia deserves to be watched closely.

Domaine Amiot-Servelle

In 1920, Clément Tachot founded Domaine Amiot-Servelle from a few parcels located on some of Chambolle’s finest terroirs. Since then, the estate has been synonymous with truly high-quality wine production.

In the 1950s, Clément’s son-in-law, Jean Servelle, took over the estate and quickly put his own mark on production. He expanded the vineyard holdings and continued the family’s craftsmanship with deep respect for the region’s traditions. Jean Servelle became a prominent figure in Burgundy and earned great recognition for his wines, which expressed the finesse and structure that Chambolle-Musigny is renowned for.

A new era began in the 1980s when Elisabeth Amiot, Jean’s daughter, joined the business. When her husband, Christian Amiot, came on board in 1989, the foundation was laid for the modern Domaine Amiot-Servelle we know today.

Since then, the domaine has been in constant development, establishing itself as one of the most respected names in Chambolle-Musigny. An important milestone on this journey was the early transition to organic viticulture, which began in 2003 and was certified in 2008. This initiative reflected the family’s desire to protect nature and ensure a sustainable future for both the vineyards and future generations – a philosophy that remains at the heart of the estate’s work today.

Today, Domaine Amiot-Servelle covers around eight hectares of vineyards, most of which are located in Chambolle-Musigny, but also include parcels in some of Burgundy’s most prestigious appellations, such as Clos Saint-Denis and Charmes-Chambertin.

Antoine & Prune Antoine & Prune

The New Generation: Prune and Antoine Amiot-Servelle

Today, siblings Prune and Antoine Amiot-Servelle lead Domaine Amiot-Servelle, carrying forward the family’s proud legacy. With their individual areas of expertise, they have brought both innovation and renewed energy to the estate, while maintaining the philosophy that for generations has been the cornerstone of its identity – respect for nature, terroir, and craftsmanship.

Prune Amiot-Servelle, a trained oenologist, returned to the family estate in 2011 after working in Côte-Rôtie and at Maison Jaffelin in Beaune. Her technical knowledge, precision, and passion for winemaking have made her the creative driving force behind the cellar work.

Antoine Amiot-Servelle joined the domaine in 2017 and has since been responsible for the vineyards. With his education in vineyard management and viticulture, he has strengthened the focus on sustainability and organic farming. He has introduced new methods that reduce the environmental impact of the vineyards while ensuring optimal grape ripeness – a crucial element in expressing the terroir in its purest form.

Antoine has also played a key role in the construction of the new winery, completed in 2022. The building is designed for gravity-flow winemaking, where the grapes are handled as gently as possible without the use of pumps. This approach preserves the grapes’ natural integrity and ensures that the wines express their origin with maximum purity and precision.

Together, Prune and Antoine form a harmonious team where cellar and vineyard work go hand in hand. They complement each other naturally – her focus on the finesse of the wine and his on the vitality of the vineyard create a balance clearly reflected in the estate’s wines.

With deep respect for their family’s heritage, they have succeeded in building upon the strong foundation laid by Elisabeth and Christian Amiot, while leading the domaine into a new era of innovation, environmental awareness, and technical excellence.

Amiot-Servelle Parcel

According to Antoine Servelle, the estate is extremely pleased with the 2023 vintage — a sentiment clearly reflected in the scores awarded to the wines included in this parcel.

We have assembled a 2023 parcel consisting exclusively of grand and premier cru wines from Amiot-Servelle. What all these wines share is their exceptional quality — and the fact that they are produced in extremely limited quantities. A closer look at the listings on wine-searcher.com shows that these wines are virtually unavailable — and when they do appear, it is typically as single bottles.

The 2023 Parcel includes 18 bottles divided as follows:

3x Clos Saint-Denis
3x Les Amoureuses
3x En Mazoyères
3x Derrière la Grange
3x Les Borniques
3x Les Charmes

Price: € 3,570*

Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru
Clos Saint-Denis is among the most classic and prestigious grand cru vineyards in Morey-Saint-Denis. Here, Amiot-Servelle produces a wine that combines the area’s natural finesse with depth and structure. The parcel is small, and total production is therefore extremely limited. Clos Saint-Denis expresses a more refined and harmonious side of Côte de Nuits’ great wines – an example of Amiot-Servelle’s ability to work precisely and respectfully with the terroir.

Scores: Burghound: 93–95, Vinous: 95–97
Maximum permitted production: 1,020 bottles
Saving compared to the lowest offer on wine-searcher.com: 5% (no full cases available)
Price per bottle: € 225

Les Amoureuses Premier Cru
Les Amoureuses is one of the most famous and sought-after premier cru vineyards in Chambolle-Musigny, and Amiot-Servelle owns 0.45 hectares here. It lies directly below the legendary Musigny vineyard, inevitably sharing some of its qualities. It is therefore not surprising that Les Amoureuses is often regarded as grand cru quality, even if it does not officially hold that classification.

Scores: Burghound: 90–93, Vinous: 95–97
Maximum permitted production: 2,700 bottles
Saving compared to the lowest offer on wine-searcher.com: 5.4% (no full cases available)
Price per bottle: € 335*

En Mazoyères Grand Cru 2023 at €225
This wine comes from the estate’s parcel in Mazoyères-Chambertin – a vineyard with Grand Cru status, located right beside some of the most famous appellations in Gevrey-Chambertin. Domaine Amiot-Servelle uses this parcel as part of its strategy to combine classic terroir with modern organic principles, supported by the estate’s full organic certification since 2008.

Scores: Burghound: 91–94, Vinous: 94–96
Maximum permitted production: 1,140 bottles
Saving compared to the lowest offer on wine-searcher.com: 29.5% (only one offer – single bottles)
Price per bottle: € 225*

Derrière la Grange Premier Cru
Derrière la Grange is, after Les Amoureuses, arguably Amiot-Servelle’s finest premier cru. From just 0.25 hectares, they produce an extremely limited quantity. According to Amiot-Servelle, Derrière la Grange is a wine that should ideally be cellared for at least seven years to allow it time to open and develop – a wine with excellent ageing potential.

Scores: Burghound: 91–93, Vinous: 93–95
Maximum permitted production: 1,500 bottles
Saving compared to the lowest offer on wine-searcher.com: 10.5% (only two offers – single bottles)
Price per bottle: € 170*

Les Borniques Premier Cru
Bordering Bonnes-Mares lies the premier cru vineyard Les Borniques – almost wedged between Musigny, Bonnes-Mares, and Les Amoureuses. Its location contributes to the high quality that Amiot-Servelle achieves from this site. And although Les Borniques is still relatively unknown compared to its illustrious neighbours, it is increasingly regarded as a hidden gem.

Scores: Burghound: 91–93, Vinous: 92–94
Maximum permitted production: 660 bottles
Saving compared to the lowest offer on wine-searcher.com: 7.4% (only three offers – single bottles)
Price per bottle: € 150*

Chambolle-Musigny Les Charmes Premier Cru
According to Amiot-Servelle, Les Charmes is one of the estate’s key wines, and it is widely recognized as one of the most prestigious vineyards in Chambolle-Musigny, where producers such as Georges Roumier, Hudelot-Noëllat, Dujac, and Amiot-Servelle craft beautiful, highly sought-after wines side by side. As with Derrière la Grange, Amiot-Servelle recommends cellaring Les Charmes for five to seven years to fully enjoy its “charm.”

Scores: Burghound: 90–93, Vinous: 93–95
Maximum permitted production: 6,900 bottles
Price per bottle: € 85*

RareWine Invest’s opinion

Wine investment is simple. The wines you want to drink in the future are the ones you should buy now – or better yet, yesterday. Many wine lovers never get around to doing that, but they’ll happily pay for it later. We believe that the wine lovers of the future will want to drink mature premier and grand cru from Amiot-Servelle. The challenge, however, is that quantities are already extremely limited, meaning only a very few will ever get the chance – both now, and especially in the future.

You now have the opportunity to secure a 2023 parcel directly from the estate’s cellar, which naturally means your price is exceptionally sharp. We have only four parcels available, so as always, it’s first come, first served.
